6 Compact Yet Capable Features of the 2025 Chevy Trax

1. Infotainment Touchscreen

The 2025 Trax has an 8-inch diagonal color infotainment touchscreen located on the front dashboard. You can use this touchscreen to navigate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two wireless smartphone integration systems. Once you’ve paired your phone to the Trax, you can make hassle-free phone calls without ever taking your hands off the wheel thanks to voice command pass-through technology!
The new Trax also comes with a free 3-month subscription to SiriusXM radio, which you can upgrade to a year-long subscription when the trial runs out. SiriusXM satellite radio is one of the leading providers of in-cabin entertainment, offering dozens of music stations, live sporting events, and international news coverage.

2. Luxurious Driver’s Seat

The Chevy Trax has a soft cloth driver’s seat with six different positioning options. With manual controls, you can adjust your seat forward, backward, up, down, or reclined to create the most comfortable ride possible. On the 2RS and ACTIV trims, the driver’s seat has 8-way power controls, including all of the standard positional options plus lumbar support.

3. ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo Engine

The Trax is powered by a strong ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This combination generates 137 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 2500 rpm, giving your compact SUV enough power to take on any adventure.

4. Heated Outside Mirrors

Icy weather will never cloud your view in the new Chevy Trax thanks to the heated outside power mirrors. These mirrors come standard on the two highest Trax trims and adjust with the touch of a button, allowing you to quickly view spots out of your initial line of sight. They also have a heat function that activates when your rear defogger is on to keep your view clear.

5. Reconfigurable Driver Information Center

The Chevy Trax has a reconfigurable driver information center that measures 3.5 inches on the LS and 1RS trim and eight inches on all higher trims. Your driver information center provides key vehicle information, including your speed, fuel range, average fuel economy, oil life, and warning icons. With the selectable display format, you can reconfigure your information center to your liking.

6. Chevy Safety Assist

The Chevy Safety Assist package is built into the new Trax to make all of your rides safer. This package uses assistive functions like Front Pedestrian Braking to stop you from making critical mistakes in your Trax and functions like Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning to avoid common causes of accidents.
